‘Tis the season for glitter! And tinsel! And all things shiny… Here are my picks for gifts that give and give and give.
Probelle Beauty: I fell in love with Probelle Beauty’s Touch n’ Grow nail hardener($14) at a press event and couldn’t resist trying their deep, rich nail lacquers ($6 each) in colors like richness, emerald, and feeling sexy. You can order them solo, or you can order a bundle with 3 colors and a bottle of their brilliant top coat sealer ($32.50). If your giftee is into nails, this might be the perfect thing.
Keep those cuticle looking good with RGB cuticle oil containing soy, myrhh, and jojoba oils ($20) and Urban Beauty United Cutiecools, orange sticks tiped with colorful emery sanders to smooth the savage beasts.
butterLONDON: If I swooned for the Cutup Collection ($25), then so will your nail art loving friend, featuring the Anorak, Titchy, and Dust-Up glitter overcoats. One bottle of regular polish, then bam! hit it with an overcoat loaded with sparkles.
To create more intricate nail looks, get them the Colour Hardware Nail Art Tool Kit ($30). I am not a nail art expert, nor am I particularly good at painting with my left hand and I was able to use this kit to create this look: Not bad, right?Yep- perfect gift- even for people who say they hate nail art. If you’re dealing with no-time to get glam situation, gift them with Jamberry nail wraps ($15) or try these press-on glitter nails from Impress Nails . You can find a ton of different glittery nails to wear for up to one week, easy application and removal. You can get them at CVS, Duane Reade, and Amazon.com.
I think the Black Buddha Mala from Shop Jacqueline Rose ($125) is my favorite necklace gift. It’s big, but not stodgy or heavy and you can go from dressed up to wearing it with a tshirt and jeans. It also symbolizes prosperity, a perfect gift to give someone you like(or yourself).
I’m going with Trollbeads bracelets for the other perfect gift. I love the fact that it’s customizeable. I decided on a leather bracelet (currently $23.10) and started with this lovely Murano glass bead (currently starting at $15 up to $98)because I felt like that suited me. I could have chosen a silver bangle, or a snaky cable bracelet to hang my charms on. How much you spend is up to you, but it’s a sweet way to celebrate memories since you get to add on year by year.
Only a few more days left!!!!
Next up: Tshirts, Lingerie, and bags…
